About AUST-N-RAIL

AUST-N-RAIL manufactures, wholesales and retails Australian prototype N scale model trains. In addition we retail other Australian manufacturers and stock products from overseas that are appropriate to Australia.

We also stock ALPS MD1000 printers and supplies (including decal paper). These printers are great for making your own decals. Email for more information.

AUST-N-RAIL (ANR prefix) kits are polyurethane (plastic) castings that are easily assembled using superglue. They normally consist of two pieces, the floor and the body. The kits include appropriate decals but not bogies  or couplers unless noted in the description these are available seperately).

N-Scale Australia (NS) are brass etched kits. They take some skill to assemble but some are quite easy.

N-TRAINS (NT) kits feature injection moulded plastic kits of six or more parts. They are easily assembled using plastic modelling cement. They include appropriate decals but no bogies or couplers.

Union Mills Models (UMM) kits feature injection moulded plastic kits of five or six parts. They require more work than the N-Trains kits. They include appropriate decals but no bogies or couplers.

Kerroby Models (KM) kits feature pewter one piece (except for guards vans which are multiple pieces) kits with Rapido couplers, wheels but no decals.

Rosco's cars (RM) are high quality pewter casting of vehicles manufactured or imported into Australia.
